Bombardier has announced that it will be cutting a further 95 jobs at its Belfast plant as part of a plan for reducing its global workforce by some 7,000 over the next two years.  Bombardier's Belfast plant produced the composite wings for the initial prototype and production C-Series aircraft.

Airbus' extended-range A320LR NEO variant is projected to complicated Boeing's plans for a proposed, "Middle of the Market" (MoM) 757-replacement, capturing important sales and momentum well ahead of any possible production date for the proposed Boeing aircraft.

Russia's Irkut is preparing to begin endurance testing of the horizontal stabilizer for its MC-21 single-aisle aircraft.  The prototype part has already completed ultrasonic inspection.
