The GE90 currently holds the distinction of powering Qatar Airways' Boeing 777-LR on the longest regular, commercial airline flight in the world: from Doha to Auckland.

Air India claims to have set an historic record with the first around-the-world flight, aboard an airplane flown by an all-female crew.  The flight was made traveling east from Delhi, to San Fransicso, across Africa and back again, aboard an Air India Boeing 777.
