Boeing has completed a five-year long fatigue test for its 787 airframe, verifying the fatigue life margin for the composite airframe and helping to identify potential maintenance issues.

EVA Air has announced the selection of GEnx-1B engines to equip the 24 Boeing 787 aircraft that it has on order, and GE90-115B engines to equip the two additional Boeing 777-300ER aircraft that it has on order.

Airbus is in talks with Saudia for a possible A380 order featuring a high-density seating arrangement.  The specially configured airline would ease congestion during the annual Haj pilgrimage to Mecca, featuring seating for 615 passengers.
