United Airlines has taken delivery of its first 777-300ER. United has another 13 examples due for delivery in 2017.

Lufthansa has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900, out of a total order for 25 aircraft.

Airbus expects to further reduce its production rate for the A380 - the second such announcement within the past year. Airbus had previously revealed plans to cut production from 27 aircraft in 2016, to 20 in 2017, and down to a projected total of 12 in 2018. Airbus now plans to slash its 2017 production rate to just 14 aircraft.
